What does your favorite color mean to you?

Ah blue! What a lovely color! It has always been my favorite for as long as I can remember. Perhaps it is a natural instinct for me to gravitate towards blue. Maybe it was engrained in me since birth with my baby things and room being blue. Who knows? Whatever the reason is, I can say with the uttermost certainty that blue is and always will be my favorite color.

To answer my title question, blue means several things to me. At times it means masculinity without the machismo. Other times it means a calm, peaceful tranquility. That to me indicates that blue is a versatile color that has a nice range of possibilites. If you were to ask me what color would describe me, I would say blue.

Think about this for a minute, why did God choose to make our perception of the sky blue? I don't know, but I'll say because it's an awesome color! Don't get me wrong, I do love the pink looking sunsets, but you only see them if there are clouds in the horizon.

And our seas? What looks better, a beach with green water or blue? I've been in both, and the bluer looking waters appeal to me more. I've been in crystal clear waters also, but come on, clear is not a color.

Windows XP has a wallpaper called Azul (blue in spanish). It is a photo of a small tropical island with palm trees and a sailboat near by. The sky and water are blue. Nothing of the hustle and bustle of the modern world to occupy the mind. If that's what heaven is like, I'm so there! I love it!

It sounds like I'm trying to persuade you to make the color blue your favorite, I'm not. I just got excited because I love tropical settings. I'm sure if you have been to a tropical place, you share my joy of it. But I must say, if it wasn't for green, palm trees would look kind of funny.

Ok whatever, I like blue and it means I'm cool. So there!
